Join us for a unique event at the PRI in Person. Featuring workers from companies at the heart of the AI transition alongside unions and investors from around the world, we invite you to a discussion on AI, worker voice and investor stewardship.

AI is reshaping workplaces across sectors and geographies, creating both opportunities and risks for companies and investors. For investors, understanding how companies manage this transformation is critical. The meaningful participation of workers in AI deployment is an important component of effective due diligence and key to unlocking AI’s positive potential. At this session, we will launch a consultation for a framework for investors to support engaging companies on the workforce impacts of AI and labour rights.

Featuring workers, trade union representatives and investors, this session will:

  • Provide first-hand case studies that show how AI affects workers and exacerbates company risks;
  • Discuss why meaningful worker voice in AI deployment and development is crucial to mitigating risk;
  • Illustrate the role that worker participation, freedom of association and collective bargaining play in responsible AI governance through practical examples from the business process outsourcing (BPO), finance and warehousing sectors;
  • Introduce a consultation on an investor framework to assess corporate approaches, engage companies and encourage worker participation in AI.
