The 2019 CWC Workers’ Capital Conference

Join your colleagues from around the world in Paris France from September 8-9 to share ideas and strategies to drive the responsible investment of workers’ capital. The conference will be held at AG2R LaMondiale on Sunday, September 8 and the OECD Headquarters and Conference Centre on Monday, September 9.
This year’s conference agenda will include sessions on:
- Reclaiming the balance of power: How trustees and unions are holding asset managers accountable
- Investor responses to digitalisation and the future of work
- Changing the rules: State-based frameworks to hold investors accountable on social issues
- Good jobs on a living planet: Progress on the Just Transition to a low-carbon economy
- Tax avoidance: how are changes in the regulatory and transparency landscapes creating risks and opportunities for responsible investors?
- Workers’ rights in alternative asset portfolios
- Innovations around fee transparency in the investment chain
We would also like to extend an invitation to trustees to join their peers in the second edition of our Trustee Leadership Workshop. This year’s agenda will focus on empowering trustees and strategies to enhance accountability to asset owners in the investment chain.
