On October 7th and 8th, the Global Unions’ Committee on Workers’ Capital will bring together over 100 trustees and trade unionists from over 10 countries and offer an unparalleled opportunity to learn from peers, experts and strategize about workers’ capital and investment stewardship priorities.

This year’s CWC Conference keynote speaker is Professor John Coates, author of The Problem of Twelve: When a Few Financial Institutions Control Everything. Professor Coates will join us in Toronto to discuss how the growth of index funds and private equity have transformed the financial landscape and will unpack the economic and political implications of this concentration of power.

Registration is open to those affiliated with a trade union; this event will be of particular interest to trade union-nominated pension fund trustees, corporate campaign or research departments, and pension/investment experts. The registration cost is CAD $350.00 (for more information, click here).
