TUSO and the Labour Rights Investor Network (LRIN) are pleased to invite institutional investors to:
UK Employment Rights Bill: What Investors Need to Know
Date: Tuesday, 18 November 2025
Time: 9:30 – 11:30 AM (Arrivals at 9:00 AM)
This session is open to all institutional investors.
This event will offer a unique opportunity to learn how the LRIN supports investors in their labour rights stewardship efforts.
Attendees will gain direct insights from Janet Williamson from the TUC on the UK Government’s Employment Rights Bill, which is currently progressing through Parliament and widely regarded as the most significant reform of UK employment law in decades. This session will explore how these changes may impact workers, companies and investors, and will cover:
- Proposed changes to collective rights: covering workers’ ability to unionise and engage in collective bargaining.
- Updates to individual rights: focusing on personal protections at work, such as improvements to zero-hour contracts, statutory sick pay, and broader working conditions.
- Practical examples of companies and sectors likely to be affected.
- Discussion on how to incorporate potential future changes into labour rights stewardship.
There will be dedicated time for discussion and peer exchange, providing space to explore how LRIN can support investors in engaging on these themes following the Bill’s adoption. Please let us know if there are specific areas of interest that you would like to cover in this session.
Places are limited, so please secure your spot by registering through this form.
