Closing the Gap: The Role of the Labour Rights Investor Network in Building Union-Investor Dialogue
Octobre 7 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm EDT
Since its launch last Novembre, the Labour Rights Investor Network (LRIN) has played a key role in bridging the gap between investors and trade unions. By providing a platform for exchange and open dialogue, LRIN enables investors to leverage data on critical labour risks within countries, sectors and companies, thereby enhancing investors’ decision-making process.
This event, at the CWC Conference, will explore how LRIN exemplifies the crucial role of labour unions in informing investor stewardship. We will show how the unique insights and information provided by unions can reveal potential material risks in portfolio company performance that may be overlooked by commercial data providers and proxy voting agencies. Additionally, we will review LRIN’s progress over the past year and discuss its potential to strengthen relationships between investors and trade unions, ensuring a continuous flow of timely, relevant information that supports effective investor action.
